Does the human body replace itself every 7 years?

The human body is a very complex structure with soo many functions and features that is useful for the human to live comfortably. But just like a vehicle, humans also replace their parts to continue to work at the best possible way. People can replace their body by purposefully getting surgery or letting nature take its course by replacing your body’s cells slowly 1 by 1. This slow process of throwing away old cells in the body and replacing them with new cells keeps the body up and running at its best 24/7.

Different cells in the human body all have different life spans . For example red blood cells in the body can live for months until they die from being too old. White blood cells on the other hand can live up to a year before it dies. As one cell dies there is another cell produced to take the previous cell’s place in the body. All bones in the body also have bone cells that die off and replace themselves every 7 years to make better bone quality in the body and less chance of breaking a bone. On average most skin cells only last for 2-3 weeks until they die and fall off the skin.

So when it’s said that the body replaces itself it does it in a way that doesn’t completely get rid of a limb for a new one since humans don’t grow back missing limbs and organs etc. The cells of the specific body part all die and are replaced with new cells which is why the art is considered brand new this entire process is done for the entire body in 7 years depending on your daily activities. After the cells are all replaced that specific part of the body is better than the last.
